Youth Band & British Army Brass Band Joint Concert

The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain and British Army Brass Band will perform together under the direction of Conductor, Colonel David Barringer MVO MBE.
Recently appointed Corps Colonel, The Royal Corps of Army Music, David Barringer was awarded an MBE in 2018 and was appointed to the Household Division as Director of Music Welsh Guards. In 2019 he was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel, becoming the youngest ever Principal Director of Music Army. In 2022 he was appointed Commanding Officer of the Bands of the Household Division, and has since overseen all military music at the Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and the Coronation of King Charles III. He was awarded the MVO in The Queen’s Demise Honours list.
