Join The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain at Saffron Hall for its Easter Concert 2027, bringing together 90 of the UK’s finest young brass and percussion musicians under the baton of Dr Robert Childs, The NYBBGB’s Director of Artistic Planning.
This will be an especially significant occasion as Dr Childs conducts his farewell concert with The NYBBGB before retiring at Easter 2027, marking the culmination of an extraordinary association with the Band spanning more than 50 years.
Exploring the theme of Health, this special concert will use the power of music to reflect on wellbeing, resilience, recovery, care and the human experiences that connect us all.
At the heart of the programme will be the world première of a major brand-new commission created especially for The NYBBGB and inspired by the National Health Service, celebrating the people, principles and enduring legacy of one of Britain’s most important institutions.
The concert will also feature an internationally renowned guest soloist.
Further details about the guest soloist, new commission and programme will be announced shortly.
Tickets will go on sale this autumn. 18s and under go FREE.
