The NYBBGB Bursary Fund aims to ensure that no young musician is excluded from this fabulous experience due to cost. We hope to raise £15,000 to provide at least 25 bursaries for young musicians attending courses in 2026. We will also fund 6 leadership awards to support the Children’s Band mentors who give up their time to develop their own leadership skills by mentoring our youngest musicians. The NYBBGB is the UKs leading brass band charity for children and young people. We exist to give the brightest young brass and percussion musicians the opportunity to develop their musicianship, play together and inspire others. Entry is by audition and our young musicians have serious potential. We are growing the next generation of brass and percussion instrumentalists, teachers and music leaders.
